What started out as a personal art project on my Facebook page, quickly became an incredibly popular internet meme, featured on sites such as Imgur, Buzzfeed, Huffington Post, Mashable, Bored Panda, Tosh 2.0, Playboy.com The Metro, College Humor, Adweek, laughing squid and some other websites in Brazil, Russia, The Ukraine, Japan, Italy and China that I can’t pronounce. With no budget (literally) the Stock Photobomber/Me cultivated and maintained a huge online audience on all major social channels, through weekly posts, sweepstakes and a smart/efficient PR campaign. The result - the blog and it's images have received over 20 million hits. These numbers continue to grow as the blog has maintained a healthy following. The Stock Photobomber and his blog were also featured on TV and online shows such as Weekend Sunrise, an Australian TV show, Moscow 24, A Russian News show and As it Happens, a Canadian radio show.
