In his 24 years as a freelance writer/art director, Matt has worked for agencies such as BBDO, Weiden and Kennedy, Goodby, Cliff Freeman and Partners, Ogilvy, FCB, Y&R, Grey, McCann, Deutsche, David and Goliath, 72 and Sunny, Strawberry Frog, RPA and in-house at Supercell and Hersheys. In that time, he’s created hundreds of ads that have run on everything from Church Bulletins to the Superbowl, some of which have won Gold Cannes Lions, One Show Pencils, D&AD Pencils, Clios, Andys, AICP and Communication Art awards. One of his ads, Little Caesars’ “Training Camp” was voted as one of the greatest ads of all time by TV Guide. When he’s not making advertising, Matt is making Instructoart books, having art shows, creating animation for MTV and Comedy Central or Stock Photobombing whatever that is. When he was an active member of a bowling league Matt consistently maintained a 160 average.
